| Bio: | Hello! I'm Colin Stuart. IRL, I am the son of MightyTauren. I got into the fandom around the same time my Dad did. I was weary of it at first but I soon joined in the fun. My Dad got his suit at FC07 and I thought fursuiting looked like a bunch of fun. My Dad wanted to have another fursona and suit but when he heard that I wanted a try, he modified some things for me and he gave it to me. I debuted as Moogor at AC07. Mighty made Moogor to be originally to be an alternate fursona for him, but since I acted in the suit he made it so that Moogor was the "brother" of Mighty. I wore Moogor for FURconsin07, MFF07, and FC07. After being in the fandom for so long, I began to think of my own fursona, and what I would like to be. I liked suiting, etc, but Moogor was never my fursona really and was never really like what I wanted to be. I discussed this with Mighty and now Moogor is currently his now. Moogor has been damaged by another person and he has been currently shelfed. We are going to send him back to Lacy for repairs. (Updated 6.28.08) And on to the boring stuff: Anyway, I was born in Vallejo, California on September 13th, 1992. My parents and I have moved several times and I also had two sisters. I'm currently living with my Dad in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. My 2 younger sisters are living with my Mom in West Allis, Wisconsin. I found out that I was a furry shortly after my Dad did. It was summer of '06? We've seen the CSI episode years before and at his work, they play music videos all day, and one was nature's anthem... and guess what, their fursuits in it. That got him thinking of it all and he started doing some research. I was looking at my Dad oddly when he decided he was a furry, but I started doing research, and then we both watched the BBF videos of FC06, etc. I thought is was cool and neat and then finally decided I was a furry too. (Original text, hasn't been updated) So far my Dad and I have done six cons; FC07, AC07, MFF07, FC08, FCN08, and AC08. All fun and looking forward to MFF08. The chances for Mighty and Me especially going to FC09 and AC09 are looking bleak. We might only go to MFF, FCN, and FURconsin do to money and how it conflicts with me and school. FURconsin '07 was a furmeet created by Mighty and Bacon. More information can be found on the Wikifur page. We weren't planning on have another in 2008, but with so many people wanting to come, and the recent idea of having it at the WI Dells... interest was increased. You shouldn't be scared of emailing or friending me, I have no problem with IM either. I'm on a couple forums. I occasionally hang around the General section on LinuxQuestions and I'm all over [H]ard|Forums. I'm also registered on furtopia... with my proud "Post Count: 0". With recent events happening at furtopia, I'm happy I never did post. I was never really a fan of that forum (it was great for people entering the fandom, but it always covered up too much of what really happens in the fandom). I also work on a couple wikis, the biggest one however is Wikipedia. I'll add more later if I forget anything or whatever :P. If you were friended w/ Moogor , I'm now using this LJ. If I ever get more fursuits/fursonas I'd like a LJ name that I can use for all my chars. IRL you call me Colin. If I had to make my own fursona... well to the lack of avians in the fandom, I'd love to be one. Proud, beautiful, majestic, powerful, a sign of peace and kick ass - Gryphon specifically, but Hawks and Eagles are pretty sweet too. Other then that, probably your "generic" fox or some other canid. I love the look of them, I don't really want to be "another" fox though. Raccoons are cute looking too, I don't think I could be a critter though. Deer and other animals with antlers have interested me too. But other then that, I have no idea on the rest of the fursona (no idea on a name, how it looks, the story behind him, how he will act). I'm hoping to further develop a fursona and I would actually like to try to build my own suit too. Moogor was created by Lacy, the suit is extremely high in quality and look amazing. But there are a couple things that I would like different in a suit. The first thing would be that it has to be easy to put on and take off. The problem with Moogor is that he take 15-30min to put on. I want to put a suit in a minute or two. Things that make it take long is getting all the under clothing on, right now my Dad has me wearing a full body Unitard. The Unitard looks pretty ridiculous and everyone I know doesn't have one. The other problem is that there are two zippers on it, both of them are on the back of me. This makes it impossible to get ready by yourself. I'd like to wear something else, but I'm not sure. Then there is the head. The fursuit head is a based on a balaclava, which stretches to the shape of your head. I'm not sure what it is but Moogor's head is extremely hard to put on and take off. Then there are the little things (paws and tail). Moogor has a detachable tail, and it is worn by wearing a belt and threading the tail through a hole in the suit. This is unnecessary and takes up time. The last part are the four paws, each paw has around 6 inches of extra fur that is made to tuck under the main part of the suit. The problem is that they never stay tucked and it looks like rubbish when it isn't. I'd prefer to have the fur end at the wrists and ankles and let the main suit come all the way down to the joint too.
